Our young CEO Arrington Gavin is making waves of generosity across the Hampton Roads area. The 2019 school year became a little brighter for students who attended Rugged Evolution’s first ever back to school drive. The City of Chesapeake Virginia’s Cuffee Community Center made the event possible, and free to the public. Saturday, August 17, 2019 will forever be a humble reminder to the Rugged Evolution Foundation, as a day of giving back. Teachers, students, or anyone who knew of a child in need received free backpacks filled with school supplies.
Local Barbers gave free haircuts to the boys
Rugged Evolution Foundation did not forget about our little girls, each princess in need of a back to school hair makeover, was given a discount coupon to a local beautician. CEO J. Arrington has been blessed to see his philanthropic initiative launch at a very young age. His foundation’s journey is just beginning at the age of twenty-four. Community support from local firefighters, and volunteers resonates a theme of unconditional love for their community. Face painting, treats, and a ton of thankful little smiles warmed the hearts of those who participated as volunteers.
